(Waste) Fibre Flows
Experimental Workshop with Colette Lewis and the (Waste) Fibre Flows Laboratory - Caroline Smith, Roy Worth and Myself.
Using textiles from The Civic Amenity Site at Kinsale Road, we began the process of breaking down the material in order to transform and revision a new life for this resource. Here, inside the central chamber of our city council, we are looking at the magnified fibers of cottons, wools and linens. These were processed, breaking them up into fine particles, added to water and transformed into sheets of beautiful paper.
